Discover Copenhagen is a part of Danish Insights and follows the same privacy policy.
We value your privacy and your data is treated with respect and in accordance with the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when visiting the website discovercph.dk. Data is only collected when this is relevant to us and to your activity with Danish Insights/Discover Copenhagen.
Data is only kept for as long as we’re legally obligated to do so, or for as long as it is relevant for the intent for which it was collected.
What information do you collect?
When you buy a tour or other products from Discvoer Copenhagen, certain personal data is necessary to executed your purchase. For this reason, we use cookies to keep track of the content of you cart while using our webshop.
We may collect information such as name, email address, postal address and payment information.
Danish Insights/Discover Copenhagen collects and handles your personal data when you do the following:
- Visit our website(s)
- Purchase one or several of our products
- Sign up for our newsletter and free offers
- Review our website
- Send us question, feedback or claims
Who is responsible for handling data?
The person responsible for collecting, handling and applying your personal information at www.discovercph.dk is Heidi Klintemøller Hansen, Roskildevej 152, 1, -15; 2500 Valby.
Why do you collect my data?
Contact information like name and email is collected so we can send you order confirmations and tickets to products you have purchased.
When you pay for your tour, we collect you name, credit card data and your IP address. Any information collected when paying is only used and stored for settling payment. As we use Stripe to settle payment, some data will be passed on, including information which is necessary for the transaction to be carried through, such as the total amount and invoice information.
If you sign up for our newsletter on the website, your email will be used for sending you this. You can unsubscribe to newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email, or by contacting us at heidi@danishinsights.dk.
If you do not wish to state the data needed to make purchases on this website, it is unfortunately not possible to buy any tours that Discover Copenhagen offers.
Your information (except your email should you have consented to receiving newsletters from Discover Copenhagen) will be deleted after 6 months of purchasing your tour.
What other information do you keep?
We do not sell you data to third parties and do not transfer any data to third party countries.
If you review us on our Facebook page, your data will be handle by said company.
Our website is hosted through one.com, and payment transaction through Stripe. Data collected through www.discovercph.dk is stored at data centres owned and run by one.com.
What are my rights?
You always have the right to:
- Get access to your personal data
- Have your personal data deleted
Should you wish us to delete any data we might have on you or limit the use, you can always email us at heidi@danishinsights.dk.
This policy may be amended occassionally in case of legislative changes.
